
INSTRUCTORS
Pia Jmoiff
Pia has a degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. She has over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry specializing in Active Rehabilitation, Personal Training, and Therapeutic Pilates.
In her years of studying anatomy and physiology she was inspired by the principles of Pilates; Neutral spinal alignment, spinal stabilization, fluidity, balance and breathing.
She is continually updating her knowledge by taking academic and practical courses that benefit active rehabilitation processes to help people recover from pain and injury. The most recent courses was with Dr. McGill on Biomechanics of the spine and low back disorders, and Immaculate Discection courses with Dr. Kathy Dooley.

Julie Fox
Julie has been taking pilates at the studio for over 10 years and is the administrator/bookkeeper for the business.
She completed Mat and Reformer Level 1 and 2 instructor training in 2019 and has more than 2000 hours of direct teaching experience to date.
Julie is certified through Pilates Process™ which is a program that recognizes the importance of an individualized approach to Pilates, with an emphasis on the therapeutic side of exercise.
Julie came to Pilates instruction after a 20+ year career as a Microbiologist (BSc PhD) and 10 years setting up and running her own local dog and cat boarding kennel business. She plans to undertake CME courses to further her skills, especially in Therapeutics and Rehabilitation.
